During your visit to Ludica, feel free to play one of the many board games from our shelves. We don't charge anything at all for the games, you just need to order food — enough so that everyone at your table can have a meal. Then hey, since you're here eating anyway, why not play a game from our giant collection? You can stay for at least two hours, and longer if others don't need the table.
With such a selection, it can be intimidating trying to find the right game to play. To make it easier, we use simple colour-coding to show how involved a game is (see below right). We have games for all people, for those looking for a challenge to those just looking for a laugh with friends. Whatever your mood, we have the right game for your group.
And on busy nights, we may have a game steward available, who can recommend and even teach you a new game!

To help you find a game that fits your needs, we colour-code all of the games on our shelves. Besides party games, which are their own category, we assign categories based on a game's complexity, thinkyness, game length and difficulty to learn -- basically how "involved" it can be. Look for the sticker in the bottom-right corner of the box lid.
Party games. Great for large groups and those people looking for a laugh! Suitable for most adults, no matter how inexperienced they may be with games.
Quick games and children's games. Good for the young and the young at heart. These are easy to learn and usually take less than 20 minutes, so are great while waiting for your meal.
Light-weight games. Includes family games, light strategy games, and longer children's games. Suitable for casual game players. Many of the familiar family board games fall into this category.
Medium-weight games. These are a bit more involved, either in terms of length, complexity, or need to strategise. Good for players comfortable with games who are looking for a fun challenge.
Heavy-weight games. These are either difficult to learn, very strategic, or require a commitment of time and/or mental effort that is less suitable for casual play. Good for hobbyists, and those for whom games are serious business!
